9. Kompożizzjoni tal-kumitati u tad-delegazzjonijiet

  President. − I have received from the S&D Group requests for appointment to committees. The list of these requests will be published in the Minutes of this sitting. Unless objections are raised before the approval of the Minutes the appointments will be deemed to have been approved. They are: to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sophocles Sophocleus, and to the Committee on Security and Defence, Sophocles Sophocleus.

We have a point of order from Mr Hartong.

  Lucas Hartong (NI). - Elf jaar geleden is er een aanslag gepleegd door islamitische terroristen op de vrijheid van het westen, en met name op onze Amerikaanse collega's. Ik zou het enorm waarderen om een moment van stilte in acht te nemen, om de bijna drieduizend slachtoffers van die aanslag te herdenken. Dank u wel.

  President. − Thank you for that, Mr Hartong. It is not on our agenda but I think it would be appropriate for the House to rise in memory of the victims of 9/11.
