Discrimination against girls in Pakistan, in particular the case of Malala Yousafzai
Miloslav Ransdorf (GUE/NGL) . – (CS) Mr President, I would like to say that we should consider cases like this before the matter of whether multiculturalism is really an appropriate strategy. I do not think that it is: it has failed as a political strategy and, if it is said that all debates are equal, well, they are not.
Where assaults on human dignity are involved, where such brutality as in this case is involved, then equality of debates is at an end. I think that it is time to demolish the prejudice leading us to a strategy of multiculturalism.
