- Before the vote on paragraph 9, second part:

  Silvia Costa, rapporteur. − (IT) Madam President, I want to remind you that today is the 23rd anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and I believe the digital world is a new frontier for promoting and protecting the rights of babies and children. I wholeheartedly thank the shadow rapporteurs from the Committee on Culture and Education and the rapporteur from the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs for the excellent job they have done too and I hope that today we will really send an important signal to everyone awaiting Parliament’s vote.
