  Véronique De Keyser (S&D). - Monsieur le Président, c'est un amendement quasi-technique, car il y avait une irrégularité dans le texte. Nous pensions que M. Jafar Panahi était encore en prison – nous avons donc remodifié un petit peu le texte. Il est en appel, mais il est en liberté. Ce qui donne ici, au milieu du paragraphe:

‘Whereas Nasrin Sotoudeh is serving a jail sentence for her work to highlight human rights abuses in Iran and has embarked on a hunger strike after being refused family visits; whereas Jafar Panahi is appealing a six-year jail sentence, a twenty-year ban on film-making and a travel ban imposed on him’.
