− Dopo la votazione:

  Algimantas Rimkūnas, President-in-Office of the Council. − Madam President, Parliament has just adopted an amendment to the Councilʼs position on Draft Amending Budget No 9 for 2013.

This amendment is totally in line with the political agreement reached in the Conciliation Committee last week in the framework of the joint text concerning the 2014 budget.

In accordance with the last sentence of Article 314(4)(c) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, I can inform you that the Council approves the amendment adopted by Parliament as regards the Councilʼs position on Draft Amending Budget No 9 for 2013.

Therefore, no meeting of the Conciliation Committee provided for by Article 314(5) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union is needed.
