– Before the vote on Amendment 4:

  Petras Auštrevičius (ALDE). - Madam President, the amendment is more of a linguistic nature. Instead of the words ‘can be’ I propose the words ‘should be’. The sentence would read like this: ‘strongly stresses that there should be a political solution to this conflict’.

  Knut Fleckenstein (S&D). - Frau Präsidentin! Wir bitten darum – auch in Absprache mit den anderen Fraktionen –, ganz am Ende von Änderungsantrag 10 die Worte „on the ground“ durch „in Ukraine“ zu ersetzen.
