   – Nach der Abstimmung über Ziffer 77:

  Beatrix von Storch (ECR). – Herr Präsident! In dem zweiten Teil in der deutschen Übersetzung findet das Wort „juristisch“ gar nicht statt. Das heißt, wir stimmen in der deutschen Übersetzung über etwas ab, das es nicht gibt. Ich bitte die Übersetzerdienste, das zu ergänzen.

Der Präsident. – Vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Er ist in der Sache berechtigt. Nun ist der zweite Teil gerade abgelehnt worden. Insofern ist das hinfällig.

– Vor der Schlussabstimmung:

  Silvia Costa (S&D). – Mr President, on behalf of the S&D Group and in agreement with the rapporteur and with other colleagues, in particular, of the Committee on Culture and Education, I present this oral amendment to follow paragraph 210: ʽReiterates that in the framework of the universality of human rights and on the basis of UNESCO Conventions, cultural diversity and cultural heritage are the world’s heritage and that the international community has the duty to cooperate in their protection and valorisation; considers that intentional forms of destructions of cultural and artistic heritage, as it is currently occurring in Iraq and in Syria, should be persecuted as war crimes and as crimes against humanityʼ. I hope this amendment will be supported.

  Charles Tannock (ECR). – Mr President, I think there is a linguistic issue here. It is not ‘persecuted’. I think Ms Costa means ‘prosecuted’. You do not persecute a war crime.
