7.7. Relatório de 2014 referente aos progressos realizados pela Turquia (B8-0455/2015) (votação)

– Before the vote on the resolution:

  Kati Piri (S&D). – Madam President, I would like to propose to postpone the vote to the June session. There was only one week before the committee vote and the plenary vote with a lot of new amendments, and I think it is in the interest of all the Groups that on such an important report as Turkey we try to find a broad majority. In order to give us more time to do that, I would like to propose to postpone the vote until June.

  Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (ALDE). – Frau Präsidentin! Ich glaube, dass dieser Antrag vernünftig ist. Wir haben jetzt über fünf Monate sehr intensiv an diesem Bericht gearbeitet. Aber der Abstand zwischen der Abstimmung im Ausschuss und der Plenarabstimmung war so kurz, dass es nicht gelungen ist, in dieser kurzen Zeit die letzten Kompromisse noch zu schließen, die notwendig sind. Ich schlage daher vor, dass wir diesem Antrag von Frau Piri zustimmen.

  William (The Earl of) Dartmouth (EFDD). – Madam President, I was hoping that a representative from a larger group than ours would actually speak against. Turkey is a very, very important matter. We have responsibilities to our constituents: our constituents are entitled to know where we stand on this, and I would suggest that the vote goes forward and people do not try to evade it.
