– Vor der Abstimmung:

  Enrique Guerrero Salom (S&D). – Señor Presidente, quería pedir que la votación relativa al programa de trabajo de la Comisión se posponga a septiembre, con el objeto de tratar de alcanzar un acuerdo con mayor nivel de consenso y con mayor representación de las prioridades compartidas y equilibradas de los distintos grupos políticos.

  Der Präsident. – Vielen Dank, Herr Kollege Guerrero! Ich gehe davon aus, dass Sie diesen Antrag im Namen Ihrer Fraktion gestellt haben. Dann sind die Voraussetzungen nach Artikel 190 Absatz 1 erfüllt, und ich lasse zu dem Antrag eine Dafür- und eine Gegenrede zu.

  Bas Eickhout (Verts/ALE). – (microphone off) …importance of the issue, and already in January we suffered a defeat in the vote on the Work Programme for 2015. I think we want to prevent that happening once again, and therefore it would be good to have a bit more time to find consensus in the Chamber for this important topic, so I support shifting it to September.

  Vicky Ford (ECR). – Mr President, having chaired the negotiations between the groups on this matter, it is a great shame that we walked away from that negotiating table on Monday night, with the S&D and EPP both agreeing that they were substantially there with a joint text, and then one group refusing to sign that deal. So, having been there, I do not know what more will be gained by coming back in September.
