  La Présidente. – Le procès-verbal de la séance d'hier a été distribué.

Non. Le procès-verbal de la séance précédente est donc approuvé.

  Michaela Šojdrová (PPE). – Madam President, I have a procedural proposal. With other colleagues, we have been preparing an oral question to the Commission on the best interests of children, and we are asking for this to be a new item on the agenda.

I am pointing this out because we have learned today that the Norwegian authorities have taken away a child from a Czech mother and have put the child up for adoption by Norwegian parents. It is horrible. We are angry and we are disappointed.

The Czech Republic is working on this issue, but here in the European Parliament we are not able to do anything for the rights of children from the EU. I am asking you, Madam President, and my colleagues to support the oral question to the Commission for the next plenary.

  La Présidente. – Madame, il s'agit à l'évidence d'un sujet très important mais je pense que la procédure exige de passer d'abord par la Conférence des présidents pour pouvoir inscrire ce point. Nous allons donc donner bonne suite à votre demande sur ce sujet important.
