External factors that represent hurdles to European female entrepreneurship (A8-0369/2015 - Barbara Matera)

Ramon Tremosa i Balcells (ALDE), in writing. ‒ Entrepreneurship and business involves own economic independence, increased self-esteem and personal growth, but also often require a lot of hours of work that often make it difficult to balance work and family. This may be one of the reasons why only 31% of European entrepreneurs are women. There are more, to which the government must face up to increase this figure. I support the proposal to promote gender equality and promote development and sustainable and inclusive growth.
