11.13. Situatie in Polen (B8-0461/2016, B8-0463/2016, B8-0464/2016, B8-0465/2016) (stemming)

- Prima della votazione:

  Syed Kamall (ECR). – Mr President, on behalf of the ECR Group, I rise to propose an adjournment of the vote on the resolution on the situation in Poland under Rules 185 and 192. Commissioner Timmermans travelled to Poland last week for dialogue with the Polish Government. By all accounts, this was very constructive and Mr Timmermans is returning again in a few days’ time for more dialogue. I propose that we postpone this vote until after those meetings have taken place. Surely this House would rather see an amicable solution found to the situation that involves dialogue rather than petty and cheap mudslinging.

If this resolution is genuinely an attempt by this Chamber to assist in the resolution of this matter in an amicable way, then it is in all our interests to move forward in talks between the Polish Government and the Commission. If this is not a politically driven resolution, then I believe this House can agree to this simply modest request.

  Jadwiga Wiśniewska (ECR). – Panie Przewodniczący! 15 stycznia zapytaliśmy Komisję Europejską o podstawy prawne ingerencji Komisji w wewnętrzne sprawy Polski. Prosiliśmy o wskazanie podstaw traktatowych tej ingerencji. Minęły trzy miesiące i nie uzyskaliśmy odpowiedzi, choć termin na jej udzielenie wynosi sześć tygodni. Komisja nie potrafi wskazać podstaw traktatowych tej ingerencji, bo tych podstaw nie ma. Ingerencja w wewnętrzne sprawy państw członkowskich jest sprzeczna z zasadami traktatowymi Unii. Apeluję, aby do czasu wskazania podstawy prawnej głosowanie zostało odroczone. Jest twierdzenie: „Lekarzu, lecz się sam”. Chcecie naprawiać prawo w Polsce, a sami europejskie prawo łamiecie. Szkodząc Polsce, szkodzicie Europie.

  Gianni Pittella (S&D). – Signor Presidente, onorevoli colleghi, vorrei umilmente ricordare a tutta quest'Aula che un paese è libero di aderire all'Unione europea, nessuno lo può forzare, lo scelgono i propri cittadini, ma nel momento in cui aderisce all'Unione europea è tenuto a rispettare le regole e le decisioni dell'Unione europea.

Quindi, nessuna ingerenza, ma un legittimo e doveroso interesse da parte di una istituzione europea a ciò che accade dentro la propria famiglia, perché la Polonia è parte dalla nostra famiglia e noi siamo interessati alla sorte dei cittadini polacchi. Questa risoluzione non è altro che il seguito del risultato della convenzione di Venezia, che ha parlato chiaro e noi chiediamo che venga rispettata dalle autorità polacche.
