  Benedek Jávor (Verts/ALE). – Mr President, my intervention is about voting on paragraph 49, which is about the ban on side jobs for MEPs. This clearly was part of the original text and the request for a separate vote arrived far beyond the deadline for those requests. We believe that it is completely unacceptable to request a separate vote on such an important issue beyond the deadline, even if it is approved by President Schulz, so we first ask for not voting on paragraph 49 on the ban on side jobs for MEPs. But if we regard it as an exceptional procedure, and we are to vote on it, then we request a roll-call vote for that separate vote.

– Vor der Abstimmung über Änderungsantrag 36:

  Markus Pieper, Berichterstatter. – Herr Präsident! Es geht um den Antrag zum LUX-Preis und um die Studie, die noch nicht verfügbar ist. Es steht drin: „deeply regrets“, dass die Studie noch nicht verfügbar ist, und wir wollen jetzt das Wort „deeply“ streichen. Das ist der eine Punkt.

Der zweite Punkt ist der, dass die Ergebnisse der Studie zum LUX-Preis auch dem Kulturausschuss zur Verfügung gestellt werden, und nicht nur dem Haushaltskontrollausschuss. Das ist der mündliche Änderungsantrag, der mit vielen Fraktionen vereinbart wurde.
