– Before the vote on Amendment 29:

  James Carver (EFDD). – Madam President, I notice that 25 pages of amendments were put forward by Herr Giegold last night but they were only put forward in German. Is that perhaps a precursor to the vote that is taking place in the United Kingdom on 23 June? Or are you now perhaps getting into hand to take English, with regards to a language, with regards to proceedings in its place?

  President. – Mr Carver, I am told that all the amendments were tabled last week and they have all been translated, so I do not see the point of your argument, except for making some comment on the upcoming vote in the UK in more than a month.
