  James Carver (EFDD). – Mr President, Sunday saw the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. With a rise in anti-Semitism not just across the European Union, but across the globe, and with Jewish communities across the European Union facing greater security issues at their schools and at their synagogues, would it not be a good opportunity to wish Europe’s Jewish citizens a happy and a sweet new year?
