Bodil Valero (Verts/ALE). – Mr President, I would like it to read as follows: ‘Underlines the need for the European Union to develop a stronger export control regime for security and defence—related goods and services; calls on the Commission in consultation with the EEAS to develop a proposal on how to strengthen the implementation of the eight criteria of common position 994/2008/CFSP on arms exports, under which weapons, ammunition, defence equipment and technologies can be exported to third countries’.
