  Indrek Tarand (Verts/ALE). – Mr President, I cordially call on everyone here to support one final technical amendment which improves our Parliament’s organigramme without actually changing it, yet enables us to enforce the decision taken by the Bureau only last week and which, in our world of rigidity, allow some small flexibility for the administration to pay attention and award promotions to those few in number who have provided excellent and diligent services to Parliament’s everyday operations and hence guaranteed the free and unlimited political decision—making for all Members of this Chamber. The amendment reads as follows: ‘Of which three ad personam promotions granted in exceptional cases to deserving officials’.

  Der Präsident. – Der gemeinsame Entwurf, auf den sich der Vermittlungsausschuss am 17. November 2016 geeinigt hat, wurde von Parlament und Rat gebilligt. Das Haushaltsverfahren wurde gemäß Artikel 314 des Vertrags über die Arbeitsweise der Europäischen Union durchgeführt.

Das Haushaltsverfahren für das Haushaltsjahr 2017 ist somit abgeschlossen. Ich stelle hiermit fest, dass der Gesamthaushaltsplan der Union für das Haushaltsjahr 2017 nun endgültig erlassen ist. Ich werde diesen Haushaltsplan jetzt unterzeichnen.
