5.1. Europa-Mittelmeer-Luftverkehrsabkommen EU-Marokko (A8-0303/2017 - Dominique Riquet) (Abstimmung)

– Vor der Abstimmung:

  Maroš Šefčovič, Commission. – Mr President, the Commission would like to underline that the Aviation Agreement with Morocco has already been applied for more than 10 years and has never given rise to practical difficulties. Its entry into force will guarantee that both parties will apply the same level of high standards and will benefit from the new market opportunities. The wording used in this Agreement is similar to that used in the EU-Morocco Fisheries Agreement signed around the same period.

The question on the geographical scope of the Fisheries Agreement and the validity of the conclusion of that Agreement are currently sub judice and only the Court of Justice can determine these matters with binding force.
