13. Iffirmar tal-atti adottati skont il-proċedura leġiżlattiva ordinarja (Artikolu 78 tar-Regoli ta' Proċedura)

  Presidente. – Vorrei informare l'Aula che giovedì firmerò, insieme al Presidente del Consiglio, un atto approvato nel quadro della procedura legislativa ordinaria, conformemente all'articolo 78 del regolamento del Parlamento.

Il titolo di tale atto sarà pubblicato nel processo verbale della presente seduta.

  Martina Anderson (GUE/NGL). – Mr President, I would like to draw the attention of the House to the fact that the Basque Peace Process Group was established in 2006 in this Parliament to create an opportunity to promote peace in the Basque Country. I believe we’re going to see advances in that process very soon. I call on Parliament and the Commission to seize the historic opportunity to support the upcoming initiatives that are going to seek to build upon that peace process. The path to a just and lasting peace is without doubt paved with challenges, and reconciliation can be tough for all sides – building peace can be tough for all sides – so I would ask this Parliament to support a lasting peace in the Basque Country.

  Presidente. – Vi prego però, quando chiedete la parola per un richiamo al regolamento, di rispettare il regolamento.

  Λευτέρης Χριστοφόρου (PPE). – Κύριε Πρόεδρε, μόνο για ελάχιστα δευτερόλεπτα θέλω να μιλήσω. Δυστυχώς διαπιστώνουμε ότι, παρά τις προειδοποιήσεις του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου με ψήφισμα που εγκρίναμε σχεδόν ομόφωνα τον Ιούλιο του 2017 για να μην προχωρήσει η Τουρκία στη δημιουργία πυρηνικού σταθμού 64 χιλιόμετρα από την Κύπρο, η Τουρκία παρέβη αυτό το ψήφισμα το οποίο εμείς στηρίξαμε και υποστηρίξαμε, δεν εισάκουσε τις εισηγήσεις των επιστημόνων και των ειδικών και ουσιαστικά πάει να δημιουργήσει πυρηνικό σταθμό σε μια σεισμογενή περιοχή, με αποτέλεσμα να απειλεί ολόκληρη τη γύρω περιοχή, που διαμαρτύρεται, αλλά και τη Μεσόγειο. Οφείλουμε να καλέσουμε την Τουρκία να σεβαστεί το ψήφισμα του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου και να σταματήσει τις εργασίες δημιουργίας πυρηνικού σταθμού στη Μεσόγειο.

  Teresa Jiménez-Becerril Barrio (PPE). – Señor presidente, quería contestar a la señora diputada irlandesa que ha hablado antes para decirle simplemente que, aquí, este Parlamento no tiene que entrar en ninguna resolución de paz ni abrir ningún debate sobre la paz en España. Porque en España, señora, no ha habido ninguna guerra. Ya lo dije aquí una vez: mi hermano, Alberto Jiménez Becerril, y su mujer fueron asesinados por ETA, al igual que 858 víctimas. Ninguna de las víctimas respondió a esos ataques, por lo tanto, y esos ataques fueron realizados en un 90 % en democracia. No hay nada que firmar. Es un documento, propaganda de ETA, para atraer toda la atención internacional que usted le está queriendo dar y nosotros, que sabemos quiénes son los terroristas, no lo vamos a permitir, porque somos muchos más los que estamos de parte de las víctimas.
