8.8. Conferenza delle Nazioni Unite sui cambiamenti climatici (COP25) (B9-0174/2019) (votazione)

– Before the vote:

  Miriam Dalli, on behalf of the S&D Group. – Madam President, pursuant to Rule 195, I would like to move for a point of order. There is an amendment that we have tabled in conjunction with some other political groups but, with a sense of responsibility towards this House, we will be abstaining on that amendment. It is Amendment 11. It speaks about a climate emergency and we’re doing this because, after a meeting yesterday, we understood that there are groups that are willing to threaten the whole COP resolution because of that amendment, and we are responsible. We have a resolution now that speaks about climate emergency. We will not endanger a resolution on COP25. We want the European Parliament to go strongly united, together with the PPE and other political groups, with a strong COP25 resolution.

  Jadwiga Wiśniewska, w imieniu grupy ECR. – Pani Przewodnicząca! Zgłaszam formalny wniosek o wycofanie mojego poparcia i grupy Europejskich Konserwatystów i Reformatorów dla rezolucji w sprawie konferencji klimatycznej (COP25) w Madrycie ze względu na przyspieszenie osiągnięcia celu neutralności klimatycznej do roku 2050 oraz wzrostu celu redukcji emisji na rok 2030 do 55 %. Dodatkowo większość parlamentarna chce dać czerwone światło nie tylko energii z węgla, ale również energii gazowej i atomowej. Takie cele będą szkodliwe dla europejskiej gospodarki i nie zostały uzgodnione z państwami członkowskimi. To jest wymagane zgodnie z traktatami.

  Marc Tarabella (S&D). – Madame la Présidente, je ne voudrais pas alourdir la longueur de la séance mais souhaiterais faire une proposition dans l’intérêt de nos visiteurs. Nous recevons beaucoup de groupes de visiteurs qui, lorsqu’ils assistent aux débats, comprennent tout sans problème, quel que soit l’endroit où ils sont installés. En revanche, au moment des votes, seuls les visiteurs en face de vous comprennent ce qu’il se passe et voient les tableaux. Je souhaiterais donc que l’on propose d’installer deux tableaux en face de vous pour que les autres visiteurs comprennent également ce qu’il se passe.
