One-minute speeches on matters of political importance

Magid Magid (Verts/ALE). – Mr President, the President of the United States of America publicly and repeatedly fantasised about carrying out war crimes in Iran. The truth is President Trump doesn’t really care about America – like the shifty, failed, plastic mafia boss of his simple imagination, he only cares about himself.

So my dear fellow Europeans, on behalf of world peace, in the name of justice, I call upon the European Union to impose sanctions directly on this warmonger and associates.

The only deterrents this limited individual understands is what personally and financially hurts him. So freeze his European assets, restrict his travel once he is a private citizen again, place sanctions on his beloved golf courses, and let the lessons of Europe be clear: war criminals do not win.

But, friends, let us talk of hope. The hope of peace. The hope of an honest president. America needs that hero to throw off the terror of an endless war, and to secure a brilliant future for all. That hero, that great hope, just could be Bernie Sanders.
