  Věra Jourová, Vice-President of the Commission. – Madam President, the Commission regrets that the European Parliament has rejected the two Commission delegated regulations on identity data. The Commission stands ready to continue technical discussions with the European Parliament in order to address its concerns while ensuring the timely entry into operation of the full interoperability architecture by the end of 2023.
