  President. – Based on the conclusions of the advisory committee dealing with harassment complaints between accredited parliamentary assistants and Members of the European Parliament and after taking into account the observations of the Member concerned, I have decided to impose a penalty on Monica Semedo, pursuant to Rule 10(6) and Rule 176, as a result of her behaviour towards her accredited parliamentary assistant, which constituted psychological harassment. The penalty consists of the forfeiture of entitlement to the daily subsistence allowance for a period of 10 days.

The Member concerned has been notified of the decision today and is entitled to lodge an internal appeal with the Bureau under Rule 177. The penalty would be suspended for the duration of any such appeal.
