The Commission has no plans to propose new rules such as those mentioned by the Honourable Member.
The Commission would refer the Honourable Member to its answers to Written Questions E‑4126/09 by Mr Higgins and 1249/10 by Mr Tarabella[1] in which it provided detailed information on the legal framework and standards applicable to sunbeds, as well as on the actions the Commission is taking to promote their effective enforcement by Member States authorities.
