I am a strong supporter of robust road safety legislation, but has the Commission compiled an assessment of the impact of EU driving directives on drivers with type 1 diabetes, and whether such measures are proportionate? Sufferers of type 1 diabetes may face a driving ban, which is not always a measure proportionate to the risk associated with having the disease and can have a significant negative impact on people’s lives. | ||||
