The Commission is aware of the 1998 Parliament’s Subcommittee on Security and Disarmament hearing on HAARP and the Parliament’s report of 14 January 1999. The specific issue of HAARP has not been discussed in the competent EU bodies more recently nor is the Commission aware of any recent initiatives to put the issue of HAARP on the agenda.
