Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia should not be seen as a Jewish or Muslim problem but rather a European issue jeopardising the democratic fundamental rights and values of all EU citizens. There is a crucial need for multifaith dialogue and cooperation, as embracing diversity is the only way forward if we are to find hope.

Is the Commission going to encourage such a dialogue, bringing Jewish and Muslim communities together to build solidarity among groups in combating hatred and discrimination?
