What specific studies did the European Commission have at its disposal when it was drawing up proposals to reduce the scope of active substances in hop protection products, e.g. in its amendment to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011?

What action can the European Commission take to support the development of products that are sufficiently effective to protect minority crops, such as hops, which do not take centre stage for manufacturers of crop protection products?
