Question for written answer E-006918-15
to the Commission
Rule 130
Olaf Stuger (NI) , Hans Jansen (NI)

Subject:  ‘Racist’ Mugabe does not wish to see any white faces
 Answer in writing

A video(1) on the Internet clearly shows that dictator Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe is less than happy to see the colour of the skin of the white journalists who are present.

1. Does the Commission still believe that the EUR 234 million in tax revenue (inter alia from the Netherlands) which has been given to the dictator and ‘racist’ Mugabe is in good hands?

2. Does the Commission believe that, after what Mugabe has said, next year Zimbabwe will rise on the World Press Freedom Index of Reporters without Borders(2)? At present the country is ranked 131st out of 180 countries, below Morocco, Nigeria and Afghanistan.

3. When will the Commission decide not to give Zimbabwe and the Mugabe regime a single cent more, and when will the Commission recover the money that it has already transferred?
