The Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Ms Federica Mogherini, has announced that an EU Global Strategy for foreign and security policy will be prepared by June 2016.

According to the Vice-President/High Representative, the aim of this new strategy is to meet the challenges of a complex and interconnected world such as the one we live in.

What are the key points of this new strategy?
