Via a wide variety of funds such as the European Fund for Strategic Investments and EIB credit facilities, attempts are being made to get investment going again in EU countries, including in the eurozone.
It is often argued that SMEs find it very difficult to raise funds — for investment purposes — from conventional banks. The purpose of the EIB's InnovFin MidCap Growth Finance programme is to help firms which find it hard to raise funds from banks in conventional ways to obtain a loan.
How many Belgian and Dutch firms have made use of the InnovFin MidCap Growth Finance programme to date, in 2015, and what amounts have been involved?
