This year, all eyes are riveted on China. With the Commission expected to put forward amendments to the EU Anti-Dumping Regulation, I believe Europe needs better rules, fairer competition, more responsive trade defence instruments and stronger enforcement of WTO obligations.

1. What kind of concrete measures are under consideration as part of the ongoing impact assessment?

2. Does the Commission envisage exemptions to the lesser duty rule, as well as new methods of calculation?

3. To what extent is the Commission taking into account the position of the European Parliament, as adopted on 5 February 2014?
