1. The map has been corrected according to the United Nations practices and standards as well as international law. As mentioned in the footnote, the boundaries and names shown and the designations used in this map do not imply official endorsement or acceptance by the EU[1].

2. The EU supports the UN Secretary-General's efforts to achieve a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution, which will provide for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara in the context of arrangements consistent with the principles and purposes of the Charter of the UN.

3. Of the four audits planned by the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety — Health and food audits and analysis service (formerly known as the ‘Food and Veterinary Office’) in Morocco in 2016, three have been postponed. It is confirmed that the audit currently still on the schedule for 2016 (2016-8915) will not visit Western Sahara.
