E-006605-16
Question for written answer E-006605-16
to the Commission
Rule 130
Enrico Gasbarra (S&D)

Subject:  Delays in payments in the health sector
 Answer in writing

Can the Commission assess the implementation of the directive on late payments by public authorities? In particular, is there any evidence of an improvement in efficiency and in the service provided to the public in a key sector such as that of health?

Does the Commission consider, in this context, that it should adopt more stringent criteria for the timing and compulsory nature of reimbursements of payments in a sector of such great public interest?
