Nuclear energy has been supplying reliable and clean electricity to Europe for years. However, for various reasons, certain interest groups would like to end the use of nuclear energy in electricity generation. Does the Commission stand by the principle of technological neutrality or would it like to prohibit nuclear energy generation through legislation in the foreseeable future?
