Meetings between Commissioners Moscovici and Stylianides and George Soros

I have learned from the Commission’s website that George Soros met Commissioners Pierre Moscovici and Christos Stylianides on 31 May.

Regrettably, the Commission informed the public in very few words as to the exact subject of the meetings and how successful they were. Every citizen of the Union has the right to transparency and public access to documents, for which reason I wish to receive answers to the following questions concerning the meetings:

• 1.Which party initiated the meetings?
• 2.On the basis of what information did Commissioners Moscovici and Stylianides decide that the meetings should take place?
• 3.What items were on the agenda for the meetings, and where can the public access written records or minutes of the meetings?
