Some time ago, the Commission and a majority in Parliament decided against a specific ‘Europeanised’ cloud — potentially a key factor in taking real control of our cyber security.
Now the Commission is asserting that there is no place for ‘digital protectionism’. It is thus flouting the principle of individual Member States’ national sovereignty and their right to protect their citizens.
How can the Commission guarantee to maintain intact and undiminished the sovereignty of every Member State?
