Rule 138
Jörg Meuthen (ID)
The EU has a range of programmes with which it supports, financially as well as intangibly, efforts to improve the situation of non-EU countries and their populations.
1. How many non-EU countries receive financial assistance from the EU, and how many receive purely intangible assistance?
2. How many of these have a legal and constitutional order which in no small way flies in the face of EU values as expressed in Article 2 TEU?
3. What is the Commission’s assessment of the proposal to make a commitment to European values on the part of non-EU countries a condition for financial support?
