Question for written answer
to the Commission
Rule 138
Margarida Marques
 Answer in writing
Subject: Trade deals signed by the EU

Strengthening Europe in the world has now become an EU priority, an ambition endorsed by the new European Commission. Trade negotiations have been very much the order of the day, particularly in view of growing tensions in this area with both the US and China and between those two countries. The principles of multilateralism are being put to the test and a review of WHO rules is being sought.

What have been the quantitative and qualitative benefits accruing to each Member State from the trade agreements with Singapore, Japan and Canada since the provisional implementation thereof?
