For multiple beneficiaries of the same grant or other support scheme published on the Financial Transparency System (FTS)(1), all beneficiaries are listed with the amount per beneficiary if this information is available. If it is not available, 100% of the amount is shown as allocated to the coordinator and no amount to other beneficiaries.

The Commission confirms that the FTS does not include published funding in 2017-2018 for Human Rights Watch, INTERIGHTS, AIRE Centre.

The Commission confirms the amounts for the International Commission of Jurists(2) and Open Society Foundation(3). As they include estimated amounts received as coordinators, the total received after distribution to all beneficiaries might be less.

Annex 1 provides information on funding for the Helsinki Committees and Amnesty International.

The Commission has a strong framework in place to protect the EU budget, including the Early Detection and Exclusion System.

It allows to identify financial operators that are excluded from contracts financed by the EU budget or have been sanctioned for grave professional misconduct, criminal activities, or significant deficiencies in complying with their obligations. None of the entities mentioned by the Honourable Member is recorded.
