 Subject: Commission position on the millions of illegal foreign nationals in the EU

According to Pew Research, one of the few sources with published figures in this connection, there are at least 3.8 to 4.8 million illegal immigrants in the EU (out of about 22 million non-European migrants). 

What is the Commission's position on the illegal immigrants in the EU?
