to the Commission
Rule 138

The Commission has regularly organised internal competitions to recruit officials shortly before the end of its five-year terms of office. The impression has arisen that the purpose of these internal competitions is to offer the members of Commissioners’ private offices, shortly before their contracts come to an end, access to highly paid posts as officials, or, if they are already officials, to clear the way for them to be promoted to senior positions.
How many people took part in the following internal competitions held in 2018: (COM/1/AD10/18 (AD10) – COM/2/AD12/18 (AD12) | COM/1/AD7/18 (AD7) – COM/2/AD8/18 (AD8) | COM/AST4/18 (AST4) | COM/01/AST-SC/18 (AST/SC2) – Secretaries/clerks | COM/02/AST/18 (AST2) – Assistants | COM/03/AD/18 (AD6) – Administrators)?
- 1.How many of the people taking part in each competition had worked as administrators or assistants in one or more private offices during the Commission’s term of office?
- 2.How many of those people passed the competitions?
