Following up on the Commission’s reply to written question E-002413/2020 on the reimbursement of cancelled flight tickets:

• 1.Can the Commission provide specific information on how it is monitoring national authorities in their role as guardians of air passenger rights in the context of the mass cancellation of flights due to the COVID-19 pandemic?
• 2.Can it provide updated information on the clear steps it is taking with regard to Member States whose national authorities are not assuming this role?
