 Subject: Suspended EU officials

According to Annex IX to the staff regulations, EU officials may be suspended under certain conditions (1) .

How many Commission and executive agency officials are currently suspended and for what reasons (please specify by listing the Appointing Authority and the alleged misconduct)?

(1)Article 23(1) reads: ‘If the Appointing Authority accuses an official of serious misconduct, whether through a failure to honour his professional obligations or through an infringement of the law, it may immediately suspend the person accused of that misconduct for a specified or indefinite period’.
