 Subject: Biodiversity

The Commission’s biodiversity strategy announced in May 2020 includes objectives such as: a 50% reduction in the use of plant protection products and fertiliser leaching; 25% of all farming should be organic; 30% of the EU’s land and water should be protected by 2030; and that 4% of the EU’s land should be classified as protected areas.

How does the Commission think that these objectives should be met?
