Patrick Breyer (Verts/ALE)
The European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA) has concluded a framework contract with a private consortium for the development and provision of an infrastructure platform. The consortium comprises everis, NTT DATA Group, CANCOM, OTE and Sopra Steria. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) is also to benefit from this technological programme. The contract has a total value of EUR 442 million and a maximum duration of six years. This follows a contract worth more than EUR 187 million which eu-LISA had awarded to everis and Sopra Steria in October 2020.
- 1.What contracts have the Commission and/or eu-LISA and Frontex concluded with Sopra Steria in the last two years, and who are the other partners?
- 2.What information systems or databases are being set up or upgraded?
- 3.What work and services will be provided under the contracts and what funds are being allocated?
