The European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA) has concluded a framework contract with a private consortium for the development and provision of an infrastructure platform. The consortium comprises everis, NTT DATA Group, CANCOM, OTE and Sopra Steria. The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) is also to benefit from this technological programme. The contract has a total value of EUR 442 million and a maximum duration of six years. This follows a contract worth more than EUR 187 million which eu-LISA had awarded to everis and Sopra Steria in October 2020.
