 Subject: Nord Stream 2 – Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Climate and Environmental Protection Foundation

What information does the Commission have regarding the organisational structure and posts within the business arm(s) of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Climate and Environmental Protection Foundation (Stiftung Klima- und Umweltschutz Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and all its subsidiaries?

Does the Commission see problems with the foundation from an EU law perspective, in particular with regard to EU rules on money laundering?

In the Commission’s view, should the foundation’s register also list Gazprom boss Alexei Miller(1) and Russian President Vladimir Putin(2) as beneficial owners?
