Final implementation of EU funds

Spain included in its 2022 national budget a budget entry of EUR 26.9 billion allocated to the European recovery funds transferred through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). It has subsequently increased this figure to EUR 28.025 billion.

According to the latest figures on execution of the budget, published on 30 April 2022 by the Comptroller General of the State Administration (the IGAE), out of the total EUR 28.025 billion of final appropriations, Spain had only executed payments worth EUR 1.587 billion. This means that during the first quarter of 2022 only 5.66 % of the total budget had been executed.

With that in mind:

Does the Commission have figures for final implementation as at 30 April 2022 by other Member States, based on which implementation rates of funds in the various countries could be compared?
