Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan was adopted on 12 July 2021. Both the Council’s executive decision, which approves that plan, and the later operational arrangement contain the calendar of milestones and goals that Spain has to fulfill in order to receive every step of the funding under the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

Considering what has been said before, I ask the following questions:

• 1.Has the Spanish Government requested any modification or review of the content of milestone 3 of the Sustainable Mobility and Transport Funding Act, which has to be fulfilled during the second semester of 2023 in order to be able to present the payment request for the sixth step of the funding?
• 2.Has the Spanish Government communicated its demand to relax compliance with milestone 3, more precisely regarding the creation of a funding system to preserve and maintain public infrastructure in order to internalise environmental costs?
