Funding for health infrastructure investments in Romania is available under the multi-fund Health Programme 2021-2027, which is managed by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.
In the framework of the shared management of Cohesion Policy funds between the Commission and the Member States, the Romanian authorities are responsible for the prioritisation and selection of specific health infrastructure projects. The programme text, the calendar of calls for proposals and the applicant guides are published on the website of the Romanian ministry[1].
In addition, there are significant funding opportunities for health infrastructure under the Romanian Recovery and Resilience Plan (‘the Plan’).
Details about the Plan, including component 12 ‘Health’, are published on the website of the Ministry of European Investment and Projects[2]. The calls for proposals are published on the website of the Ministry of Health[3].
